my ideal diet day is 2000mg or less sodium, 1200-1500 calories, 200 or less carbs, 100% calcium, 20-30g fiber, and at least 60g protien. but i always seem to mess myself up and binge. i need help and i don't know what to do but i want to break the haboit for good. i break it for a little while but then i slip and i just go way overboard. i'm telling myself that there are way funner things than eating but it's still hard.

Reply from anne, Age 17 - 12/09/04 - IP#: 216.66.108.xxx not that much- i mean- yeah, at first you have to really concentrate on it but then you just start to know that if something is so high in sodium but low in calories it might still not be worth it. it's all about balance and getting used to it...
Reply from Rachael, Age 14 - 12/09/04 - IP#: 207.231.96.xxx Maybe you are restricting to much, and obsessing to much over the whole thing? You don't need to count every carb, protein, and fiber gram. It makes you too obsessive(I'm talking about people in general), and more prone to binging. If you let up a little, let yourself have sweets in moderation(or what you crave), then you won't feel so deprived. I have the same problem.
