If i limit myself to 1000-1200 cal. a day can I lose weight fast?
Reply from Rachael, Age 14 - 12/13/04 - IP#: 207.231.96.xxx Well, you WILL lose weight, but since 1000-1200 is not enough calories for anyone, your metabolism will slow down, which will make you gain weight right after, because your body won't be burning fat as fast as it used to. What I would recomend is simply eating 1500-1600 calories per day---while it may sounds like too much to you, I've lost weight eating that ammount. Also, 30-60 minutes of exercise 3-5 times per week. You WILL lose weight following this plan! Simple is always better. :) Another thing that really helps is drinking lots of water! 6-8 glasses per day is good to aim for. It flushes junk of of your body and helps with weight loss. Good luck, and don't give up!!!
