Hello, well i heard that is better to work out in the morning because you havnt eaten anything well i dont have time in the morning and i was wondering if any one can tell me if u can lose the same amount of weight if you do it eaither after school around 230 or at night? please help and can someone tell me what foods are high in protein and low in cals. ?
Reply from candace, Age 14 - 12/13/04 - IP#: 66.169.168.xxx basically any kinda meets are high in protein and low in cals. eggs are too. if you buy those healthy choice meals,they have like 20 grams..im not sure if that's alot. but i know their healthy, and VERY good! Even like the stoffers herb chicken and pasta is good..and only 250 cals! yeah..good meals!

Reply from Kelly, Age 14 - 12/13/04 - IP#: 24.7.116.xxx hey shannon. it's said to be better to work out in the morning because it jump-starts your motabolism, so as you eat, you more easily burn the calories. there are beyond that numerous advantages to excercising in the morning, but i know how you feel. i just simply don't have the time or energy to get up early enough for a decent run and a shower. if you exercise later in the day you will still burn the same number of calories and you will still speed up your motabolism, but it won't do you much good since you won't be eating very much after your workout. either way though, excersizing at night is still EXCELLENT and very important, so don't think it's a waste of time. as for protein i dunno but don't you dare touch nuts... they're deadly!
Reply from anne, Age 17 - 12/13/04 - IP#: 66.220.240.xxx yes- you will because you'll be burning the same amount of calories- it's just with working out in the morning you have less carbs to burn because you've digested everything so you get into fat burning mode a bit quicker. a good tip to get into fat burning mode and burn stored fat is to drink a cup of plain coffee(or with splenda) a little while before working out. runners use it to drop body fat percentage quick. good luck!
