Hey guys you all have done really well! Wow! I'm impressed! Maybe you could help me. I am 5'5, 240 lbs, and a size 18. I weigh a lot in muscle because I used to body build. I am going through this thing now where I desire to look more feminine and have been trying to lose weight. I have, but it's been really s-l-o-w. Like 1 lb a week. How can I make myself lose weight faster? I need to lose 100 lbs and 44 inches to be at my dream size. I am hoping I can get this done by senior year. (I am halfway through sophomore year.) I've already been on adkins and gained twice the weight back, so for those on adkins, don't get off of it! But does anyone have any suggestions that will kick my metabolism in gear and excercises and places to workout? DOes any1 know if Curves works? Thanx. Please respond if you have time.

My mom and my sister do curves my sister and I are twins, curves is a little bit boeing because its basicly adult woman, but curves does get you loosing weight, maybe try getting a friend to do it with you, myabe it will bounce things up.... Good Luck!!

Drink 10-12 glasses of water a day. Eat 3 meals a day from 2,500 calories..no more, no less. exercise for and hour a day. try sit ups, jumping jacks,push ups,jogging...whatever you are comfortable with exercising. stay away from soda's,chew your fod slow. don't starve yourself, and don't eat non-fat or low-fat foods because they actually gain more weight.

my mom did curves- it works really well, although you will probably be the youngest one there! good luck!
