Reply from anne, Age 18 - 01/17/05 - IP#: 216.66.102.xxx eat less calories and burn more. don't go under 1200. i suggest you start by eating 2000 for a week(since you're at that high weight then you burn more then 2000). go down to 1800 after you stop losing weight at 2000 calories. after you plateau on that start eating 1500 calories. and once you get down to 1300-1400 calories start exersizing for 20 minutes a day. one day cardio- the next lift free weights(start at 3, then 5, then go to 10lb weights.) don't eat and less then 1200 calories for an extended period of time! it will slow down your metabolism and stop you from burning fat and instead eat away at your muscles for energy!!! oh, and try to make sure that the foods you're getting your calories from are quality foods that have good nutrients in them, like fruit and veggies and lean protein. good luck! i know you can do this because you're not selfish and you need to do it for more people than yourself. this is a very noble cause you're doing it for so don't give up! and don;'t think you've let anyone down if you have a slip-up- just remind yourself that this weight loss is important and get right back on task!!!
