Okay, so I lost 20lbs recently. I'd like to lose 15 more, and then 30 more. I now weigh around 198-200lbs. I used to weigh 218lbs. I am going to eat under 1000 calories a day and exercise to DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) for 1 hour everyday.

i'm sorry if you think i'm rudre but you're being, frankly, ignorant and deciding to not take in that it's a widely known fact that you should not eat under 1200 calories and if you do for a prolonged amount of time, yes, your body will go into starvation mode. i must have said this about a billion and 2 times on this site and this is why whenever ANOTHER person says it, it makes me angry- because they're obviously not willing to be healthy and shouldn't be on this site setting a bad example to people who don't know the facts...

please sara! we all know what we're talking about... just eat 1200 calories a day, i PROMISE it will give you better results. and i never make promises without meaning them.

whether anne is over reacting or not, its widely know now that 1200cl is the lowest one should go. If you take time to looks back on old posts, youll see that that is what everyone says. And we arent lying.

i agree with anne. COME ON, you have to eat BETWEEN 1200+1500 cals a day to lose weight. if you eat 1000 cals a day, u will lose weight, but be more likely to gain it all back

if you eat that little, and exercise, that is really unhealthy and your metabolism is going to start slowing down. Not good.

i know eating less than 1000 calories seems promising... and believe me, at first it is... but what happens on those days that you just cant diet? your body will want to store all the extra calories you eat as fat because 1000 calories a day just isnt enough. so before, you start, eat 1200 calories a day. the process will be slow, it will take just as long to lose the weight as it took to gain it sometimes. but in the long run, its worth it, and also permanent if you keep the good eating habits. remember... eating less than 1000 calories a day means fast weight loss--- and fast weight gain!
