hey, everyone says that if u drink like 12 cups of water a day u loose a lot of weight. is that true? if so, how many calories do u burn?

What does help is if you start reaching for water when you feel like snacking, or if you are drinking water when you would typically grab something sugary, because water fills you up. A lot of times, when people start drinking water, they eat less because they are filled up with water. But just drinking water alone is not going to make a huge difference. It doesn't really burn a significant amount of calories. The only way to really lose real weight is to eat healthy and in controlled portions and exercise.
