i want to flush my system like 3 days befoe my trip imm going to try and have like 9 glasses of water / day or something, how long will it take to lose the water weight from all that? cuz maybe i should stop drinking any liquids like the day before to make sre my stomach looks it's FLATTEST?

You usually retain water because you have too much sodium (which is basically salt) in your body. Water weight is the fastest to gain or lose, and that's why people weigh differently at different times of the day. Drinking lots of water should not make you gain water weight unless you are eating lots of salty foods. You should DEFINITELY NOT stop drinking fluids for a whole day, that is unhealthy. Besides, a pound of water weight will not really make you look fatter, as opposed to a pound of fat. Your stomach won't be flatter unless you lose actual fat.
