Hey guys! I decided to go on the Atkins diet starting tomorrow. I was just thinking, I've tried everything else that's out there. I exercize a lot every day, but I just eat a lot too. I can stay on a diet where you have to limit how much you are eating for about two weeks. And then I just regian the weight I've lost and maybe even more. I'm at around 155lbs right now. My goal is to be 130lbs by May 1. I am 5'5". I will do the Atkins like you're supposed to. So after I'll loose the weight I will go on the maintenence phase, not just quit the diet altogether. What do you think?

i went on atkins and lost 8 pounds in one week. and GAINED 10 pounds back!! its a horrible diet that is really bad for you.... stick to 1200 calories a day!! good luck!

nooooooooooooo!!!! save yourself! it's a fad diet that emphasizes red meat and unlimited fat, and tells you NOT to eat fruits and vegetables. Sound healthy? (it also gives you horrible breath) and you'll gain all of the weight back as soon as you go off of it

if u go on the atkins.. you dont need to cut all of your carbs.. just have a little amount.. cuz it may ber persuading but u need SOME carbs just like you need SOME fat...

I think if you can't stay on a diet for more than 2 weeks you shouldn't go on a restrictive diet like atkins, but go ahead if you believe it will work. Don't give your hopes up on it, and it will work, DO GOOD, GOOD LUCK!!!
