I went to my doctor about my wight and im now on the right track losing around 2lbs per week but could someone explain what a slow metabolism is? i felt silly asking the doctor! thanks

That means you need to eat less calories for your body to work. Having a fast metabolism means you need to eat more. That's why there are people who can eat and eat and eat and never gain weight, because their metabolism is very fast. You can speed up your metabolism by building up muscle, lifting weights, stretching, etc.
