Heres advice for you girls who are trying/wanting/whishing to lose weight. STOP worrying about it! When you are ready you will lose the weight. Stop the diets , they DO NOT work , trust me. What works is something you can follow your WHOLE life. A lifestyle change . You have to adjust to a healthy eating habit that doesn't restrain but moderates your cravings. Normal healthy eating. I've been through atleast 10 diets. And i have and have not lost weight but after a while i would gained it all back and sometimes even more. If you really want to lose weight , so you can we healthy and fit you have to learn whats good for you and you have to be willing to give it all you got. You are not young forever , and trust me i wish i was youger. Now that i'm fifteen i have lots of responsibilities. My way of thinking has changed and i am not so worried/Anxious to lose weight. I have lost 20 pounds in 2 months doing NOTHING! I didn't think about it. I even didn't eat alot of junk food because i didn't felt restrained. I ate when i was hungry and lived my life normally . I'd go to the park with my friends and have FUN. That's about it. I have a long way to go before i am at my " ideal weight for my age and height ". But i will do it. It's just a matter of determination.Stop worrying about weight/food. There are more important things like education and your future. Yes being healthy is important but should not be a battle or be making you miserable. Enjoy your kid years while you can they don't last forever you know.. :)

Hey, i am writing a persuasive paper about Kentucky schools mandating a four credit physical education course in order to graduate high school? They are saying that today's teens are more obese than in past years. My argument was that making an overweight teen get up and exercise in front of your not so overweight peers was degrading, socially dicouraging, and may make the problem at hand worse. My teacher told me my argument was not convincing. What are your thoughts about this? please write back at rae_rae3387@yahoo.com

sure, your right, but one thing i wanted to add is that exercise isnt just for weight loss, it maintains so many health benefits for you body. people who exercise live longer. so when you guys are exercising to lose weight, remember, your gonna have to exercise for the rest of your life, because other wise, once you start exercising, if u stop, you'll start gaining back because you've slowed your metabolism.
