Reply from anne to haley, Age 18 - 03/08/05 - IP#: 216.66.102.xxx btw- it's not humanly impossible either. trust me- when you lose weight you're not just losing fat, you lose water and muscle- so combined with all of those things you could lose 5lb. in a day. say- for instnce on the low carb diet because you're retaining less water in your abdomen. same with the south beach diet. just thought i'd let you know...
Reply from anne, Age 18 - 03/08/05 - IP#: 216.66.102.xxx that's because throughout the day we gain weight. it's normal because of water retention and unprocessed foods. that is why you were 5lbs heavier at night then in the morning...but congrats on the eating and exersizing well!
Reply from Hayley BTW, Age 15 - 03/07/05 - IP#: 64.172.57.xxx just to let you know, it's humanly impossible to lose 5 pounds in one day. You are always heavier at night, because you have all of this food sitting in you waiting to be digested. People gain an average of 6 pounds in food and water weight throughout the day. Each pound = 3, 500 calories, so for you to have burned 17,500 calories in one day is absurd.
