ok, i know i said i wasnt going to weigh myself till easter, BUT i just did today, and i havent lost anything!! Ive totally cut out soda, only drinking milk and water, and i havent been eating meat for Lent, plus iv cut way back on the chocolate. Anyway, this past week i was at my "mid-stay" camp with peeps i havent seen in over 5 months, and it was awesome! I see them all again in 3 months, so my goal is to get in shape by then. It will be summer by then too. Really my focus is on muscle, more so then losing weight. Like i have already got a few cute shirts with no sleeves for warm weather--good motivation. So LOTS of work outs, bball, running, and really all i will do for my diet is cut out soda, and juice now too, cuz i hear thats as bad as soda sugar wise, and no chocolate, i think i can handle it! I am hoping to loose about 20 lbs my june! wish me luck!

Reply from anne, Age 18 - 03/08/05 - IP#: 216.66.102.xxx if you're working on muscle and not eating meat then you def. need to make sure you're getting at least 60g of protien daily from other sources or you'll be losing muscle mass instead of gaining

Also, cutout chips and junkfood. Sugar (in anything) is bad. Except natural sugars like apples and things like that. Eat more fruit and veggies. And it wouldnt be bad to have a little bit of meat in the process. But since you gave it up for lent, eat chicken! Or fish.
