Hi, I'm Matt, 14 on Sunday 13th March, and, over the past few years since my parents divorce, and with intense bulling in school, I have piled on weight gradually. I currently weigh in at 15stone 3lbs.I have started to take action today, with the aid of my friends, "A Diet Diary" where I write my thoughts and food intake, oh and of course, a pocket sized book that shows ALL FOOd and calorie levels.I'm eating a calorie controled diet, where I vow not to eat over 600kcals a day, and today, after several apples and water, I have little to no hunger!Is this it? Am I losing weight?Hmmm... I wonder. Can't wait to weigh.But at 12am last night, had mad 200kcal binge on milk. Eeek. But, have around 100 calorie points left for today. Only a few more hours.I hate exercise. But I think I could get into it easy enough.Help me, pleaseThanksMatt  (Note: 1 stone (st) equals 14 pounds.)

that's a very unhealthy aproach- hasn't anyone told you that you'll throw your body into starvation mode by eating under 1200 cals daily and that your body will lose all the muscle and hold on to the fat?!

u have to eat 1200-1500 cals a day to lose weight healthy

You have to eat at least 1200 calories a day or you won't lose weight efficiently or safely. Focus more on exercise, not so much diet because its more important you burn off the calories, and build muscle than eat an EXACT amount of calories. Good luck. *Ray*Ray*

a kcal is a calorie yer and this is to matt -"I vow not to eat over 600kcals a day" so ur basically sayin u aint gonna eat more than 600cals per day! this is starvation ur will put on weight eating like this for a short amount of time. any weight that u will lose will b water weight + muscle and ur skin not shrink as u lose the weight so u will have skin saggin everywhere. do it the healthy weigh . i.e 1200cals per day n exercise

hey what country do you live in and is a kcal = to a calorie? and at least it was milk not like...candy or something.
