the basketball season is over at my school, and my cardio is going to go down a lot. i really don't have the time to run around now that basketball is over. my mother generally gives me a lot of extracurricular activities like piano and art to keep me busy. i need to find some workouts that i can do fast and efficiently. ionly have about thirty minutes for excercise every day. i would also like to know if anyone has any stregth training regimens that don't include weight. (my mom doesn't apporove of them, don't ask me why). i have been eating quite well, but all through basketball i haven't lost a single pound. i still weigh aroung 160 pounds. i'm 5"2. it really bothers me because i train for 1 1/2 hours twice a week. i have P.E. twice a week for the same time. that means i excercise officially for 6 hours a week. then i do push ups, tricep dips, squats, and lunges in my spare time, or about 2 hours weekly. i think that i am excercising plenty, and eating no more than 1200 calories daily. it's frustrating. i don't know if i should work out more or eat less. if you know what i'm rambling about, and if you have any suggestions for me, post me a reply. i would really apppreciate it.

hey. I know exactly how you feel. During basketball, I would have 2 hours of intense practice and I cut down on sweets and I only drank like one pop during the whole season(4 months), and that pop was DIET. I didnt lose a single pound, i think i might have even gained 1 or 2. Now I am trying to cut back but its kinda hard. I also try and exercise, but like you I dont have alot of free time, and I have PE every day for 45 minutes, and its tough PE. So, if you ever want to talk email me, ashley_gass@hotmail.com

hii am 13 yrs old and i no that i am over wieight i really want to lose 59 pounds because now i weigh about 169 and i am really sad.

omg if u r eating 1200 cals a day n excercisin dat much, u shud b loosin, bt dnt cut da food intake dwn jz get an excercise video and do it evre day 6 days a week 4 30 mins. If u still dnt get ne improvement c da foods u r eatin r rite 4 u. gd luk!
