Reply from Christina, Age 16 - 03/15/05 - IP#: 24.233.84.xxx Yah I like working out at night too. But any time of the day is fine also. You should eat breakfast within the hour you get up. Lets say thats at 7 because of school. At school you have no choice when to eat so eat whenever you must. For snack....eat something healthy and thats less then 150 calories. That can be after school. For dinner, I like to eat very early around 5-530 and then eat nothing for the rest of the night. By doing that, you digest your food quickly and it wont store as fat. But you must pick times that are convienent to you. ALSO, dont eat 2-3 hours before you go to bed. But good luck!

A calorie is a calorie, despite what anyone says; it really doesn't matter. the only thing I would suggest is to give yourself at least an hour or maybe two between the time you eat your last food and the time you go to bed. It's not great to go to bed right after eating because your body is just going to put all of htat food directly in storage. I like working out at night too for that reason, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have much advantage, I just feel better working out later.
