Reply from Hayley, Age 15 - 03/22/05 - IP#: 64.163.212.xxx well pasta isn't great for you in general, because it's a simple carbohydrate, which means it is quickly turned into energy by your body, and if your body doesn't need that much energy, it stores it as fat. A better option would be whole wheat pasta, because this is a complex carbohydrate, which is not as easily converted into energy by your body, and therefor fills you up longer, and doesn't get stored as fat as readily.

And at the same time pasta is good for you cause it is HIGH in fiber. . and you boody DOES need fiber<3 angie
