How can I lose weight on my upper arms? Everywhere else is pretty toned (especially me legs because I'm a runner) but my upper arms are way flabby. I don't want then to be all muscle and huge i just want to get the flab off of them...how can I do this?

Reply from anne, Age 18 - 03/31/05 - IP#: 216.66.102.xxx you're a girl- even when you lift weights(which is good- muscle is really awesome for your metabolism) you won't build big muscles- yuor muscle will always be slender unlss you take steroids. it's just how we're built. men get buig muscle naturally- it's not natural for our bodies to have huge bicepts so go for the weights and build slender muscles that help out your metabolism!
Reply from kathryn, Age 17 - 03/31/05 - IP#: 84.160.165.xxx yep, do exercises, like arm cruches and stuff, but dont use weights, use just youre own arm as a enough weight, or use resistance bands. weights are what help develope big muscles, and when you stop ussing them it all turns back into fat. So dont use them! I have your same problem, and im working with a restance band, like a big long rubber band. its helping!
