is 145 pounds for a 5'6 girl fat or overweight? i think i am and i keep trying to lose weight but i get lazy and never excercise sometimes i eat so much and its horrible. i want to lose like 10 pounds before the summer. that would be great. does anybody have any tips that can get me started on a regular excercise routine and some tips for eating healthier? thanks guys

Reply from helen, Age 15 - 04/03/05 - IP#: 68.158.2.xxx marrielle she may not be overweight but she probably just feels that way because many people at her school are most likely sticks you know? so that makes people think they need to lose weight which is fine but dont lose too much the whole point of this website is healthy weight loss... now to your question im working on my eating habbits right now and i weigh 135 i use to be over weight but i lost weight and gained some back its just confusing .. but for excersize what is your daily schedule do you like working out in the morning or evening and if you dont like working out which one would you prefer find one and just try a lot of different kinds of cardio vascular excersizes like running, walking, jogging, swimming, biking, any thing that gets your heart rate up just go at your own pace when doing these things and then push yourself a little each day try to do it every day for thirty minutes it is most effective that way also do crunches, pushups, squats, oblique crunches, and stuff like that to just tone up areas so you look great! well if you have any more questions just ask...
