Ok I do 50 situps everyday...but my stomach is still...THERE. I hate it, I hate this big mountain that I have. It's in the way, I want to get rid of it. No matter how much I do, it won't budge. I still remember when one day this boy asked me if I was pregnant. I cried a lot and I still do sometimes, please...tell me how I can make this stomach disppear. Sometimes I just feel fat and helpless...that what I'm doing isn't enough, when will I SEE results? I know I lost 11 lbs on this diet...but when will I actually SEE myself looking different? I'm desperate.
Reply from janie, Age 15 - 04/13/05 - IP#: 64.136.49.xxx your stomach is most likely the place where your body stores fat. for some people its the butt, or hips, or thighs, and for your its your stomach. so the solution? lost fat. not weight, fat. which means fat burning aerobic/cardio activities. sit-ups only harden your abs, not take away the layers of fat stored there.

Reply from helen, Age 15 - 04/07/05 - IP#: 68.217.2.xxx it does actually take time to see a difference and 11 pounds is GREAT!! but you may not notice as much because you see yourself every day and a little bit here and there you wont notice all that much because of that but sooner or later your pants will start to get looser and same with your shirts and you will be really happy and see a big difference. for your stomach try raising the amount of sit ups you do i know i told you not to but that was because you said your stomach muscles were hurting you but now raise the amount and also try other kinds of stomach excersizes such as oblique crunches which is kind of like a crunch but when you go up you twist to each side and after you have done about ten on one side go to the next also do flutter kicks THESE ARE HARD!! what you do is lay on your back completley flat and then put your hands under you butt for support and then raise your legs of the ground and move your legs almost as if you were running but keep them STRAIGHT!! and do about twenty reps.. and then there are leg lifts for those lay on one side and raise your leg up and down just dont let it touch your other leg or the floor! and then switch do about twenty reps also another important thing to lose the fat off your stomach is CARDIO try jogging its gonna be hard at first but as you get into shape you will do GREAT *right now im trying to motivate my self to go out and do it i havent jogged since yesterday and then it wasnt a very tough work out...* also eat nonfat yogurt because yogurt burns calories im not sure how but it does.. lol well good luck if you have any more questions just ask!
