Okay so lets talk about diet pills.. you people who say they r bad and they let u take the easy way out.. NO NO NO NO NO!!u act like they make u skinny in a day....the kinds you get from ur doctor if u do get any r the kind you should get because no, they do not burn ur fat while u sit n pig out on potato chips n watch ur favorite show.. but they let you know when ur hungry.. and not just "craving" it takes away teh cravings and will make ur appitite a little smaller.. but yes ur still going to have to exercise and drink water..i dont think my doctor(s) would put me on a medication if they were harmful:S:S..doubt they'd do it to you either...OF COURSE! they arent going to help if u sit on ur butt all day and dont move.. they arent miracles.. they just help you.. SOME DO.. and ask your doctor about those.. cuz i only know 2 that work for me.. but yes i still have to exercise and eat right...so far i know merida is GREAT AND phentramine or something

i have to agree with all the other replys. although the pill might help you lose some weight, what happens when you stop? and not only does diet pills help lose fat but they also reduce muscle mass. what about track runners like me? we need muscle so i would have to say that taking dieting pills would NOT be for me. i'm not saying that by taking them you are taking the easy way out but i am saying that its a lot more healthier if you lose weight naturally.

well, i dont know, obesity is a disease right? so isnt medicine for obesity being the "easy way out" the same as saying taking medicine for pneumonia the easy way out? there is such a little chance your body can fight it off alone, and you will eventually die. its no different with obesity. medicine isnt the easy way out, its just a way of life. it helps bring you to a cure, just as antibiotics help bring you to cure for bacteria-caused illness. i think i may want to ask my doctor about the diet pills, i have a hard telling when i'm hungry :-)

i said that hayley because technically they are like she said they take away the craving for food and let you know when your hungry and not in my opinion i find that taking the easy way out because your not learning how to over come that by yourself because seriously are you always gonna rely on a pill for everything???

i haven't seen anyone claim that people who take diet pills are copping out and taking the easy way. What we say is that your body becomes quickly addicted to them, and 1. as soon as you stop taking them you gain all of your weight back 2. you start not being able to lose weight without them. Why depend on a pill when it is much safer to do it the healthier and more natural way, by just eating smaller portions of healthy food and exercising?
