ok i know its hard being overweight and your mom probably gave up because she didnt see you put in a strong hard working effort what you need to do YOU only YOU need to get serious about this and maybe after you lose about ten pounds your mom will be like hey she is actually trying and if you cant seem to do it by yourself then ask her for support and if she will take you back to weight watchers.
first off.... YOU know what is healthy and what isnt YOU do not need someone to come and tell you what you can and cant eat...set up a meal plan with 1200-1500 calories a day.. you start this by looking at what your eating now...for instance if you dont eat breakfast START find something that has nutritional value in like cereal or fruit the kind is for you to decide... for lunch sandwiches work GREAT they are filling and depending on what you put in them they are healthy and what you put in them is up to YOU like i said YOU know what is healthy and what isnt! and for dinner dont necesarily go omg im on a diet i have to eat like a rabbit go ok my body needs fuel not a bunch of crap and find something with nutritional value in it and if its a big portion then split it in half im not saying lose all food you like just in proportion and dont plan in a little treat make sure you have calories left over for the day that if you do get a craving you can sustain it but not over do it!
for excersize.. find some cardio that you like to do like you said you like to walk! thats great if you can push yourself do a slow pace jog if not work your way up to it! and for tonning do push ups ,situps, squats, leglifts...just stuff that isnt that complicated but will pay off in the long run and you say you have a job find a gym with a cheap member ship ( that is easier said then done ) but there is one out there ...somewhere and force yourself to go like thirty minutes a day atleast! well good luck and remember DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!!!

I bring my lunch to school because the meals tehre are realyl high in fat and calories. Ok I usually bring a Tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread( I use light mayo and sara lee heart healthy bread. I also bring those 100 calorie packs. Then I bring a piece of fruit(apple, orange, banana), and either some carrots or string cheese. I try to keep my meals within 400-500 calories. I bring water to school and even when Im not thirsty I find myself drinking it. I am also on 3 softball teams (i play on my highschool team, a select team, and a local team). Usually if I ever have time I turn up the music in my room and dance and stretch to warm up then I do some crunchs(20) push ups (15) then I look in my Seventeen magazine and do some of their workouts. They have some amazing workouts in there. You should check it out! I hope I helped. Oh yeah and You need to eat THREE meals NOT two. and 1-2 snacks if you are REALLY hungry

HI Meg, I know exactally how you feel I used to weigh 187 and I lost 60lbs and now I weigh 130. It was really hard for me to lose weight too.But If I can do it you can do it to.Dont give up on your self please!, tell your mom to keep on going to weight wacthcers. And this time actually follow the health plan ok?.Yeah I know what youre saying easyer said than done yeah I know but every time you feel like giving up well? just think about how you feel after you just ate another potato chip or when you didnt exercise for an hour which what a teen is supposed to do at least 3to5 days a week. But just think how good youll feel after instead of eating a burger a apple and execising everday this week or when you get on the scale and it says 200!.so please try again dont give up GOOD LUCK!!.
