Hey everyone. I have been going to this program in my local hospital called " child and adolescent nutrition program" . It's really great. I get group sessions every Monday and physical activity every Tuesday and it's free! ( well maybe for me because I have medicaid ). Group is fun there are other girls like me and even fatter than I. I don't feel bad because they are fat like me. And we talk about nutrition stuff and share stories. We have a social worker who talks to us ( kind of like therapy) and a nutritionist. They're really great. I have made new friends and I don't feel so bad about being fat anymore. I have learned a lot. Every week I learn something new and feel better about myself. My nutritionist said that when we are ready to lose weight we will do it . I think I am almost ready I know it's going to take hard work but it will pay off. My goal right now is to lose 2 pounds . I know it's a little amount to lose but my nutritionist said to start with little goals that help your big goal. I am going to start walking around my neighborhood this week everyday for 15 - 30 minutes for the first time. Even though I hate walking. Wish me luck! :)
