Thsi guy I like is really cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I want him to ask me out but I dont think he will untill I loose 43 pounds. Please can someone give me a diet or diet tips I can use so ones that my parents wont notice Im tring to loose weight. I dont want them to know its really embarrasing Please heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllpppppp! Thanx
Reply from NiNi, Age 14 - 04/23/05 - IP#: 205.188.116.xxx well first of all if your doing it for the guy and not for yourself then your not going to get anywhere but it is something to like keep in mind like im going to lose weight so he can ask me out no dont eat this or ill gain weight but you need to put yourself first and your parents should know i mean there is nothing to be embarassed about they are your family they might know how to help you and what to do but good thing to do is eat a lot of fruits veggies not a lot of junkies drink lots of water and excersize a good amount for 30 min-1hr at least 3 times a week

If the only reason he isn't asking you out is because you're overweight then do you really want to be with someone like that? Probably not. But I know that doesn't make it any easier because guys tend not to like overweight girls. Well, to lose weight you basically need to increase exercise and decrease calories. I suggest eating about 1200 a day, but for a more accurate number ask your doctor. Exercise at least 3 times a week for about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Do cardio like speed walking, running, sports, etc. You might want to add in some crunches, pushups stuff like that and maybe some mild weight training too. If you can, join a gym that way you have access to a lot of equipment. If you can't join a gym you can do it at home, and walk around your street and stuff or you can buy work videos, I like tae bo and pilates personally. It would be a lot easier if you were ok with your parents knowing because then they could help you. Just try to cut back a little on your food, not a ton though because then they'd notice. Just go out and hang out with friends more like say your going to your friends house and then walk around her block with her or something. When you go to the mall, walk around the whole thing.
