ah..today started out soo good and then when i got home i couldnt stop eating..so now i have eaten about 1200 calories.. and i still have to eat dinner...(my parents make me) but im on a 1500 calorie diet so i guess i could eat a really small portion and not have a lot of calories does that sound good to yall? i hope so...give me some input...id appreciated it ..~helen~
Reply from helen, Age 15 - 04/21/05 - IP#: 68.158.7.xxx technically i ate like a whole meal when i came home...so itwouldnt really be skipping a meal...and it is perfectly fine to do 1200 calories a day but i dont do it everyday...because if you fluctuate your calories from day to day it speeds up your metabolism and weight loss...

Trust me on this one, 1200 calories might be the "official" mark between health and starvation, but that doesn't mean you should go that low.

Reply from Camille, Age 17 - 04/21/05 - IP#: 70.81.187.xxx 1500 calories should be the minimum, not the maximum. The average teen needs to eat over 2000 calories a day, and so 1500-1800 is a good amount for when you are trying to lose weight. Please don't go under that, it's bad for you.
