i'm a teenager and i am overweight. that is really hard for me to say. this is a really painful topic for me because i don't like myself for that reason. i feel repulsive and worthless. i have no one in my life right now who can understand the pain i go through justlooking at myself in the mirror, which is why i'm writing my true feelings here. i'm looking for some undersrtanding and maybe a little compassion. i need a friend who knows where i'm coming from. i need advice. anyone who wishes to share something with me i could use the feedback

Marylyn I think your doing fine and should just think of all the positive things about yourself & stop worrying about the bad things becasue the bad are hard to fix but the things your good at will stand out even brighter and I mean that! think of the good things and how to improve them to keep your mind off of it!
luv ya Ashley by the way if you need any more advice go to Maveylover@aol.com :)

I agree with Kaitlyn! Don't get down on yourself. Follow her steps, and once you start looseing weight, you will feel amazing about yourself.

You shouldn't get down on yourself for being overweight, its not like it is a terrible disease or anything. People in time will understand you. If the people at your school tease you about it, that just makes them a lower person, and u wounldn't want to hang out w/ them ne way. You should just cut your calorie intake slightly at first and try to keep it a little bit more each week. Also, exercise is very important. If you don't want to walk outside in fear of what people think, just dance around in your room or something for exercise, try this and come back on here and tell us how it went. I wish you luck with this, and I hope you get to feeling better about urself!
