I'm 13 years old and weight 251 lbs....I eat because I love food and whenever i try to lose weight i just end up eating more because i miss all the foods. and its not like i eat good food either, i eat chips, cookies, candy, soda, that stuff. everyone in my school is like really thin and when i go to school i feel so bad because i'm so fat. and when i stand next to my friends i look even fatter cuz they're all thin.

Does it ever happen to you where at home you forget about how fat you are and give in to your hunger and just pig out but then when you're at school, around everyone you realize how fat you are and get really self-concious? Uggghhh I'm like almost everyday!!

You can't eat healthy 100 percent of time, that doesn't work. You have to eat healthy at least 80 percent of the time. Eat ur favorite fruits, vegetables, lean meats, low fat/whole wheat grains, and drink plenty of water! Treat yourself to like one meal a week when you can eat whatever you want in moderation, such as 1-2 pieces of pizza and a 1/2 cup of icecream; just an example. Exercise like 30 minutes a day by walking in place or dancing to your favorite music! Good Luck on this hun. The weight isn't going to come off overnight though. It will come off fast at first and then slower, but it will be worth it at the end!!!!!

first step- get more confidence in yourself. learn to love yourself for who you are now. after you've done that, cuz your portions in 1/2 and drink water instead of soda, and yogurt instead of ice cream. exersize doesnt mean get out and run a mile, all you have to do is go outside and take a 30 minute walk. enjoy the fresh air, and even bring a portable CD player and listen to music on headphones.

i know how you feel when i was your age and in your grade all the girls in my school looked like that. they still do about of my school of about 893 i have only seen 20 kids that are my size or bigger i weight 194.5 and i used to be 205 so i am going somewhere. just keep trying and do things the healthy way. i know it's tempting to do things the unhealthy way but i can tell you from doing it it's not good for you and you hurt yourself. i kno how u feel cos im 12 yrs old and i weigh 288...uck! and when i try 2 lose weight it never works and my freinds are all thin cept for one but shes my height (5ft)and weighs 178 but shes still thiner. its hard bein the fat gurl
