To all you who've been sucessful in losing weight; how do you deal with hunger/cravings? My BMR is aprox.1500 and it's a struggle to create a wide enough calorie deficit to lose weight. It is very hard to stop myself from binging. Are there any tips to stop myself?

Just do your best. Or have your parents limit the amount of junk food at your house, if its not there you can't eat it. Good luck! *Ray*Ray*
Reply from Camille, Age 17 - 05/20/05 - IP#: 70.81.187.xxx Your BMR is only the amount you would use if you didn't get out of bed all day. If you count standing, walking, digesting, and any kind of movement you make during the day, the actual amount of calories you use is 2000-2200. Don't sweat it. If you insist on counting calories, with a diet of 1500-1800 calories, you will still lose weight.
