ok, packin on winter fat isnt the problem here, ur body doesnt do that. but think about ho ur lifestyle changes when you go back to school, and it cools down outside. first, instead of playing out side and swimming, now ur sittin in a classroom all day. in summer most of us eat a lot of fruits and veggies cuz they;re in season, and we have time to clean them. no we rush around and often just grab whatever is available to eat. (which is fatty cafetiria foods of high cal snacks) and we just arent running around outside so much cuz its cold. but maybe you should start enjoying the benefits of winter to. check out the fruits and veggies that are in season now, like squash and apples. commit to eating on fruit and one veggie every day (fresh or canned, no added stuff like cheese or sugar) and make ur self exercise. join a gym, or get together w/ a group after school to go for a walk. most people have this, where they lose all summer, and then winter comes and they gain 5 lbs. I gained 7 , it took me from october to april, so atleast it didnt all pile on at once, put i know how you feel

That happens to a lot of people. We're animals, and we pack on fat too keep warm for the winter.

okay, in the summer your body doesn't need the extra fat and protection it needs in the windter. It all goes back to the caveman days when they packed on the pounds to make it through the winter and lost the pounds when they were outside more. Now that we, you no have coats for the winter we no longer need those extra pounds but our bodys seem to think we do. Plus, in the winter u eat lots of comfort foods like potatoes and cookies and stuff and when summer time rolls around you always run around out doors and eat veggies and fruit...so thats the story...dont worry it happens to every 1 lol
