Hi guys i'm new to all of this and have tried almost every other diet and though I start off good I always slip up and gain the weight back. I'm hoping that if I have people to talk to about it and give advice I can do it this time. I'm going on vacation at the end of august and need to loose 15lbs. If anyone can give any advice of how they stay motivated or how they lost weight i'd appreciate it!!! Thanks
Reply from roxanne, Age 18 - 06/05/05 - IP#: 69.152.252.xxx hey inez. i knkow how you feel about dieting. i always start out strong, but have a tough time sticking. reading these success stories have really helped because i get to see kids my age reach their goals. what helps me is to get a clear picture in my mind of what i want to be, whether its skinnier or in better shape. anytime i am tempted to snack or graze as i think of it, i bring that picture up. its tough becuase i love food, but i tell myself that nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. hope this helps! good luck!!!
Reply from emis, Age 15 - 06/04/05 - IP#: 68.20.208.xxx lol. well to stay motivated i come on this site. i drink 8 8oz bottles of water a day and then i exercise on a treadmill everyday for like 15-20 mintues on fat burn and listen to the radio and when my favortie songs come on..or gennerally just up beat songs it keeps me motivatded to keep going. Also just remeber your doing this for you. Ive heard people on here say they have ther like..goal cloths or smothing tht keeps them realy motivated. For dieting i just eat fruits, veggies and string cheese adn 100 cal packs for snacks. also i try to eat half of what i would normally eat or follow the serving size. hope i helped some.
