I weigh 168 lbs and I want to get down to about 117 lbs by August.Is my goal reachable and if you have any tips i'm always listening!

Just make sure you don't have the mind set of "If I lose all this weight..then I can eat whatever I want". It's hard to deprive yourself and then once the weights gone...go back to normal eating habits. I've done that before, and the end result wasn't pretty! I gained lots of weight back! So, just keep that in mind. You want to make realistic goals that you can make. Just take baby steps, it's worth it in the end :). :hugs: ~Miss K

erm no lol 10lbs is a safe weight any more than that is just really water weight and is easily reachable. Of course jay jays goal is achievable but not in basically 2 months most you can lose is around 20lbs good luck with that but lola they 13.yo. you should not really be giving false impression because your saying she can lose like 48lbs in around 7weeks, thats like half a stone per week and thats like 1lbs per day. so you should really get your facts straight or at least believable

not really maybe a 120ibs tip:try to eat lots of fruit and veg a cut out red meat it worked 4 me!!!eat lots of fish

Maybe not by august, but of course you can lose that weight!! How tall are you? If you havent started a diet a good way to begin is just to cut out all junk food and soda pop. start to drink water too its good for you. Also whenever you can get out adn be active, exercise. You could try to eat more fruits adn veggies too! LOL good luck i no you can do it!! :) <33

that may be tad hard to accomplish that soon. I lost 10 lbs a month because i cut out all junk food. So I'm going to say 30lbs is probably all you could lose healthily

i think you can make it to 145 or even 130 if you work hard watch the suger and drink water you can do it
