well I'm going up to visit my boyfriends parents for the weekend so its really going to test my will power if they take us out to eat. Anybody know anything about how bad red meat is for you on a diet?? I know chicken is better but I just love steak. Anyways...I'm down another 1/2lb today so I was happy. I just got a bikini i ordered from VS and I tried it on last night...definitely looked soooo fat in it but it gave me more motivation to keep doing well and exercise more so I can wear it on my cruise in August and not feel like I shouldn't be wearing it. I usually bring one of those nalgene bottles to work that are like 32oz and i just feel like so blahhh drinking it but with a smaller bottle i think it would definitely be easier like you said since you just kinda chug it and odn't think about it. I had some like wednesday i couldnt resist!! I think if you rely want it and exercise afterwards/do good with eating afterwards youll be fine. Youve been doing so well you deserve a break. But if you are doubtful you could get a chicken salad or just chicken. Theres still so many good thinngs out there to eat! Keep on going strong im sure your look wonderful i nyour bikini!! :) :) <333 good luck!
Reply from Ally, Age 15 - 06/10/05 - IP#: 68.209.179.xxx AWESOME ABOUT THE BATHING SUIT>... im in mine right now bc im headed to the beach, i still dont feel comfortable there like you said but i dont feel entirely TOO big, ya known.. well read meat is okay for you in really small portions however today's societyserves HUGE ginormous portions of meat for meals... instead of ordering steak order something like chicken or fish then ask your hunnie if you can have a bite of his so that piece or two you get from his plate will taste SOOOOOOO good!! i do this with french fries and it helps alot bc once you start you just cant stop! well i wish you the best of luck... anytime im here for you DncnJuneBug@netscape.net

Even though I'm at my goal weight, I still don't feel comfortable in a bikini. That sounds like great motivation though. And, about red meat...I love it too. I love a tender steak. In small enough portions, without any extra sauces...it's not that high in calories. My mom ordered these little mini steaks approved by the national heart association, and they only have 117 calories each. They're about the size of my palm, maybe a little smaller. But, if you savor each bite, you should be satisfied sooner with it. That's worked for me at least. It also helps to know that pork is worse for you than beef. Bon Appetite. Have fun! :hugs: ~Miss K
