Hey guys.... I use to post on this website back when I was 14, and I was really determined to lose weight. I was at 180 and by the time i got out of 8th grade I had lost 25 lbs...(ya i know it took a really long time for me) Well now that I just got out of 9th grade I'm back up at 180, and none of it is muscle weight. So I try to eat right, and I dont have any unhealthy snacks in my cupboard, but whenver im hungry I can't stop eating. I will have eaten about 2 hours ago and than im hungry again, and of course being introduced into an environment with tons of candy and sweets in the vending machine for just 75 cents I lost control. All of the weight I lost came back, and now I've been "dieting" for the whole 2nd semester and I never budge. I just was downstairs trying to do some situps, push ups, and a bit of weight lifting which back in 8th grade was a lot easier, I can't do it at all. Im getting ready to scream and get on whatever medication I can to make me lose weight no matter what the cost, because I am really pissed off at myself. None of my friends take me anywhere with them with others, because I lower their reputation with girls and such and its really embarassing. I resort to playing video games all day because nobody knows what you look like on there and its the only way for me to actually talk to people, but of course that is making me even worse. I have no idea wtf to do and my parents give me no help. Please help.
Reply from cheese, Age 15 - 06/11/05 - IP#: 68.113.71.xxx man you gotta push yo self it aint yo parents or my parents fault we fat,through the past year ive been on a weight loss roller coaster but now im going to get fit no matter what i know you make think im lying but im 5'6 276 pounds ad very uncomfortable with my weight and when i went to an Amusent park i was the only one who couldnt get up after the ride on the rollercoaster, but now im going to challenge myself to do better school starts on August 11th and when i go back they are going to see a new me, so just keep hope alive man and do what you gotta do becuz you done did it before and you might wanna consider taking a supplement to help you

Reply from Ally, Age 15 - 06/11/05 - IP#: 68.209.179.xxx okay i deff. undersand about trying without too much help from yuor parents i recently poste something about my mom thinking i was really fat despite that i am a healthy wieght now and i have lost 25 lbs. i understand you! but heres the thing get s fried who can help you out! ask if they wanna lose wieght with you or eat healthier with you or even bulk upwith or something to that efect! also look into playing a sport such as football or lacrose or wreastleing! that could help alot SWIMMING!!! swimming uses all 655 muscles of your body! anyone can swim 10 laps so try it! you can do it and we are always ehre for you to help bc your not alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reply from sami, Age 17 - 06/10/05 - IP#: 70.32.223.xxx ohh man 8th grade i was like 185.. i started working out and stuff and got down to 150 ish.. the skinnist i had ever been (my bones weigh alot but i was pretty fricken skinny).. i kept it off for about a yr.. and come soph more year i expanded i was always between 169-177.. Then i went all the way back to 185 my junior yr.. im huge.. im down to 177 now and i lost 8 pounds in a week in a half by just excercing and majorly watching what i ate. i love food so i eat everything in sit.. weight lifting is really good cause it will help you brun more calories.. well good luck..<33

When I got into high school, because of the various fried foods, I gained 35 lbs. I was stuck at 145 for a long time because I had P.E. This year (I just finished 11th grade) I went up to 155 because I didn't have a P.E. class. Then, I went to this doctor and I was supposed to lose 10 lbs by June 15th. I've only lost 6 lbs but it's better than nothing. The only thing that I did different was have a salad for lunch everyday (well, not everyday. that's why I only lost 6 lbs) and I tried to actually do something everyday rather than go home and sit at the computer or go to sleep. I also made sure to just have one meal after school. That was my main problem... because I'd eat as soon as I came home and then my mom would come home and insist on making me dinner. Anyway, that's all I have to say about that. Wait... one other thing I did. I identified the unhealthy foods that I ate a lot (turkey sandwiches with cheese and mayonaise) and I stopped eating them. I lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks.
