When I was really big I would pick certain spots on the road to run to. And it does help because each time you increase it and it helps alot. If you are on a treadmill pick a certain number and count to it. Once you reach it walk for alittle the attempt it again. I never could run either, but now it is like a hobbie for me. Good Luck Hun

hey, ah we have the same name lol anyways
if you are anything like me you probably dont find walking challenging so thats when i started running and when i started running i SUCKED! i couldnt even run a minute straight. it is very discouraging but i kept pushing my self like each time i ran down to the mile point and i felt like stopping i would be like ok im gonna slow it down to a walk at that stop sign but im gonna start again at that mail box and pretty soon i pushed my self to do it the whole way there and back just keep pushing and dont keep telling yourself it will get easier because in all acutuality it shouldnt because after you can dothat at a slow pace jog you should push yourself to a faster pace and to a longer distance.. well good luck and dont make the same mistake of over training like i did becausei have been able to run for six weeks because i tore cartilige in my knee and i have to get it looked at an xrayed again so good luck buy running shoes, stretch before and after, and drink plenty of water!

Try http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml it is a program designed to build you up from no running to running a full 3 miles! I am doing it right now, I'm on week 3 and I feel great.

Start slow. Build up. Try walking for as long as you can with out getting extremely tired, even if you can only walk ten minutes. Try doing that 3-4 times a week and build up from that each week. Good Luck and you can do it!
