Hey everyone! alright here is my HUGE problem 5'1 or 5'2, i weigh 196lbs, my friend lost a lot of weight and has kept it off for a year and 1/2, when i asked her how she did it she said for 2 wks, she just laid around a really didnt eat a lot, like she was really lazy and slept... so basically her stomach shrank, and then after the 2 wks, she slowly started eatin more, until the point where it was healty but not as much as she was eatin b4 that... is this safe?... i wanna do it bc it was successful but is it safe and if it isnt ne extremely good tips on motivation?... tysm to ne who replies.... ill heart ya 4 eva..PLEASE HELP ME

i wouldn't suggest it b/c if u dont eat far amount of cals u wont have energy to do anyhting like hang with friends or rollerblade or w/e just 1200 cals a day atlest so u will have energy and if u dont like to exercise then try something new like make up a game and play it with ur frineds

your stomach will shrink and it will appear that you are losing weight but most of what you are losing is water weight.

i dont think thats safe..you should just limit the calories you eat now to 1200-1500 annd youll lose weight and im sure youll find it easier

I dont think thats very safe thats kinda like jumpin of a 300 story building and forgetting the hero sandwitch do you see where Im going with this of course you dont because Im playin around like sooo many other times but seriously dont do it Its unhealthy right ow well I cant solve every problem hatter out

hey...wow that's freaky when i read your post...i'm going through the same thing as your friend. Since school's been out all i've been doing is sleep and be lazy...i dont eat as often because i dont feel as hungry...i didnt know i was losing weight until like i weighed myself and i had like suddenly lost 10 pounds! (after a couple weeks of course) at first i thought i was sick or something but then i figured it out because i wasnt eating...but i wouldnt recommend this for you lol...just wanted to say yeah i thought there was somthing wrong with me but now that i've heard someone else doing it...i'm relieved lol.

Your stomach won't shrink if you eat less. All that will happen is that your metabolism will slow down, so you won't be hungry as often. But that's not necessarily a good thing. If your metabolism is slow, whenever you do eat, you won't use up most of the energy from your food, so the leftover energy will be converted to fat. You should slowly and gradually reduce the amount of food you eat, not suddenly change your eating habits.
