They say when lifting weights to only workout every other day or so to give the muscles some time to heal, but is this true of situps as well? Or, can I do situps everyday

i think you can do situps everyday..your abs are the only muscle that dont need a day to heal .

i was reading a fitness magazine and they said that you shouldn't do ab workouts everyday because it's the time in between your workouts that actually build the muscle.

you can do sit ups everyday... since your abs get worked with anything you do.. with walking, running, bending down, anything like that.. so you're just working them harder than you normally would
