Hey, I'm overweight, and on some sites they even classed me as obese on that BMI thing. My problem is cravings. I get them sooo ofeten and I have absolutely no selfcontrol!!!! do you have any ideas on how to resist temptation? Im tired of not fitting into my fave clthes.
Reply from Alissa, Age 15 - 06/23/05 - IP#: 70.21.220.xxx If you start to have a craving, take your mid off of it by drinking water or eating a piece of friut or bread. Then, go outside, or somewhere not near the kitchen and exersize. Go for a walk outside with a friend, or just go play catch for 30 minutes. It will take your mind off of the craving and make you feel a lot better than if you would have given in. I don't think that you should give in. By doing that, it teaches your body that it will eventually get what it wants, and at the begining of a "diet", it can be hard to stop eating that food after 1 or 2 bites. GOOD LUCK!!!
Reply from orcy, Age 17 - 06/22/05 - IP#: 68.0.210.xxx drink water, chew gum, or just have a little but of whatever your craving then stop..when you being craving something drink water and wait 15-20 minutes and if your still craving it then treat yourself to a little bit without any guilt
