Help! My mom told me tomorrow we are having Hamburgers for dinner and then on Friday we are having Pizza. How much healthier would the pizza be if I just took all the cheese off and just ate the sauce and crust because the crust is my favorite part anyway. And how much healthier is the burger if I just eat the meat without the bun?

Reply from Camille, Age 17 - 06/22/05 - IP#: 70.81.187.xxx There is nothing wrong with hamburger buns. Obviously you want to stay away from white bread sometimes, but once in a while it doesn't really matter. Go ahead and have the burger. Taking off the bun doesn't change the fact that the hamburger patty is all meat, grease and salt. Just make sure you have a healthy side dish (like salad) and dessert (like fruit or nonfat yogurt).
