I'm trying to lose weight and do you guys think it would help if i just ate fruit and drank water//diet soda?

No it wouldn't! You need nutrients and vitamins from food, and if you don't get them, your body starts eating away at your muscles, turning them into fat.

Diet soda isn't good for you! It's full of sugar. Drink water and milk, juice and when doing a heavy workout, Gatorade or a sports drink, because they have a lot of needed nutrients.
