Reply from Kylie, Age 16 - 06/29/05 - IP#: 68.12.84.xxx Georgia, I know how you feel, I went through the same thing. It took me a while to realize that I HAVE to exercise because of my health. It's very hard to get motivated to exercise, and eat right. I started gaining weight at 10 years old, and I'm at about 215 right now, but I know that I'm doing right because I not only exercise, but I'm more active. I don't always eat right, and I know I should, but no one is perfect, I just remind myself of why I want to lose weight, and keep on with my goal. My point is that you need to find your motivation, whether it be a guy you really like, or your health, or etc. No one can give you the motivation to lose weight, you have to find it on your own. Read up on weight loss, and teenage obesity, etc. I did, and realized it's so vital to my health not to be over weight at my age. You can eventually get diabetes II, which will cause blindess (scary!), and/or get serious heart problems. Girl's around our age don't think about their weight until they weigh themselves, or look in the mirror one day and find that they gained so much weight over a few years, or months. If you want to talk, I get on aim at Dreamless808, or you can e-mail me at Kehlinge@cox.net. I would love to hear from you. ~ Kylie
