HELP, OKAY MY FRIEND KEEPS TELLING ME I DONT LOOK OVER WEIGHT ALTHOUGH I DO AND AM! SHE KEEPS SAYING "KATIE YOU DONT LOOK FAT, YOU LOOK SKINNY" AND IM NOT... WHY WONT SHE JUST TELL ME THE EFFEN TRUTH? IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE SHES PITTY ING ME AND IT MAKES ME FEEL DUMB, CAN ANY ONE HELP ME? WHAT SHOULD I DO TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT THIS... CONFRONT HER?
Reply from Kolleen, Age 15 - 07/05/05 - IP#: 12.202.134.xxx --you need to sit down and talk to her.. be like hey i know that i am overweight... and i think that you r just tellin me that i am skinny to make me feel good but i want you to be totally honest with me i won't get mad at you! .... maybe after she tells u what she thinks ask her if she will help you try to lose some weight maybe help you watch what u r eating.. maybe walk or exercise with u **even if shes skinny, its always good to stay in shape** my friend is helppin me lose weight by exercisin with me and also when i am around her or stayin at her house she eats healthy and makes sure i do to...!--maybe thats what ur friend can do... hope i helpped!-and good luck
