Hey!! i havent been in here for like ever and i have been struggling with my weight for my whole. even though it hasnt been along time, probably around 9 years, lol i know its not funny. Im bigged boned and its hard for me to lose this weight that i have. i heard that jogging for 20 minutes equals 40 minutes of brisk walking. I hate running though, but i know that its WAY better than walking for ever. I have no problem running because i was on my track team, but its so boring. I'm fine with everything, i guess, but my stomach is the problem most of all.My dad is part of the problem too. He is overweight because he stopped smoking so he takes that place with food. He buys junk food all the time and thats probably y im so overweight (about 30-40 pounds). Im trying to tell him to not buy so many junk food and if he does that he will eat it all before i find it. All my friends are in such good shape or they are skinny with some flab on their stomach. I just want people to understand its so not easy to lose weight. I have a friend that lost 30 pounds in 3 months. And she is hella skinny. Could u please help me and maybe give me tips on nutrition and fitness thanks again...

There's a lot of stuff out on the net that gives information... but all you really need to know is limit your portions to what you think you could fit in your hand, or I suggest palm size portions. 1200 calories per day is best if you want to lose a lot of weight in a shorter period of time, 1500 calories per day for a longer period of time. Drink a lot of water every day, 8 glasses is what you need, but drink more if you can. Try to get diet soda instead of regular, diet has 0 calories. Eat fruit for a snack instead of salty/fatty and chocolate foods. Start off walking everyday, then work up to running, if it's boring to you then do it with a friend/family member. Get involed in some summer sports, or a camp.
That's all I can think off, if you want to talk I get on aim, Dreamless808. Or, you can email me at Kehlinge@cox.net.
