Reply from Fishie, Age 15 - 07/05/05 - IP#: 66.69.219.xxx ever since 9/11 aircrafts have become so incredibly safe. they double check everything like engines and such atleast 5 times, and they won't let you on the plane until they are sure it is perfect for flying. my dad had to wait 7 hours for a new plane after the first plane he was going to go on didn't pass the test. and this just shows that even if a plane is a little bit below perfect, they won't let you on it. they make sure the plane is safe, comfortable and enjoyable. its amazing being in the air. I absolutely love it. The most beautiful sight is flying over seas, and then finally reaching the coast of your destination. The outline of ocean and land is so gorgeous. and the clouds are beautiful too. in daylight it looks like your gliding over antarctica, with snowy mountains. everything about flying through the air is just incredible, beautiful, breath-taking... i love how surreal it is. It's like watching a movie. and at night, the stuarts make you so comfortable. and turbulance is completely normal. All turbulance comes from wind and clouds. 99% of the time when you look out the window during turbulance you will see that your either IN a cloud, or half in a cloud. But this just shows you how fast you really are going, and its exhilerating. There is so much good, outweighing the bad. I mean, you're flying. You literally ARE flying. Just let the wind carry you to your destination, and it will all be just fine. Enjoy your trip. I'm sure it will be fun.

Reply from susan, Age 14 - 07/05/05 - IP#: 65.146.53.xxx do somthing that takes your mind off the flight. talk to the person your sitting next to or read a book or listen to music. or you can do my favorite, drool over a picture of jesse metcalfe. that will take your mind off of flying. good luck!
Reply from Orcy, Age 17 - 07/05/05 - IP#: 68.0.210.xxx Dont worry, i felt the same way. I just went on my first plane ride earlier this month. Have you been on a plane before? Once I got on there i felt so much safer, because it doesnt seem like much could happen once your actually on it. and there are tons more plane crashes then car crashes. planes are actually much safer.

Reply from lola, Age 15 - 07/05/05 - IP#: 81.155.200.xxx soz read person below first but i agree. you go in a car all the time probably or a bus or whatever and theres more chance in crashing there
Reply from ~tessa~, Age 15 - 07/05/05 - IP#: 205.188.116.xxx every year there are about 50000000000 more car crashes than plane crashes i just got back and i took 6 planes and they were fine they test the aircraft before it flies too
