Ht. 5'7, Wt. 170 - ok it pisses me off so much the way some of you reply to messages...people are here for help and to get answers for their questions. For example, a few pages back i made a topic about how i only ate 250 calories and if that was healthy b/c i wasnt hungry. So i get some responces saying it was a stupid question and that i was startving myself...which is completely ridicoulous, i would never starve myself. I dont eat that little everyday, i ususally eat around 700-800 calories a day. And for those who say eating little doesnt help you lose weight, your wrong, it works..i lost 20 pounds from doing that. Also ive been reading some responces and some people are not helping other peoples situations. You should be trying to help. and dont say stuff like Y DO U EAT SO MUCH? I DONT EAT THAT AMOUNT OF STUFF IN A WEEK! i mean, please..be a little more supportive. thats all i need to say....this isnt towars everyone.

Yeah, eating low calories works to starve yourself, of course you will lose weight. But keep it off long term? Probably not. Also, your metabolism become so slow at that point that as soon as your start eating again normally you gain that weight really fast. Bad choice for long term. There is no argument.

thank you guys for being cool about this. Its really not as bad as it seems though...im not hungry so i dont eat...ever since i started going on a strict diet, i have been making sure i eat less and less. For me..if i reach 1000 i feel like ive ruined my day. Ill try to start eating more, because i dont eat all my food groups in a day, so maybe ill start eating some fruits or somthing...thanks for the advice

I remember when some1 said that about somebody. It's sounds really hutrful and every1 gets hungry at different times. Anyway, 2 who ever said that, what if the person they said it 2, said that 2 them. They would be pissed.

Eating that little is very bad for your health and its not the right way to look at dieting.. dieting does not mean eating that little it means eating healthy ok.. you need to get to a doctor or straighten up because i used to be like that and it dangered my health and you may not care what other people say but im telling you the truth and the truth is that you can die from it. your body needs calories to keep your organs running and for whatever activities you do and you arent getting enough. you could start becoming dizzy or faintish and that is a bad sign. im just telling you from personal experiance that its not healthy or good for you to do that

If your body survives on 250 calories a day, that means your metabolism is incredibly slow and you should see a doctor about it. It isn't normal, it isn't healthy, and you SHOULD be worried about it. Just because you aren't hungry, doesn't mean everything is alright. If you think eating 700-800 calories is a big day, then there is something wrong not only with your body but with your views on health.

And also (i just thought of this lol) everyone's body is different. Some are going to need more calories than others. Some will need less.

I totally agree w/ you. I mean, by the time you drink all the water you need, and get in a lot of fruits and veggies, you arnt very hungry. And some people do eat alot cuz they are hungry and people make fun of them! I mean come on!
