Ht. 5'2, Wt. 140 - i need to lose 20 pounds. i just joined a gym and i'm going every day for 2 hours and i had a trainer show me what i should do.. now it's just up to what i eat. anyone have any good meal plans that help ? let me know

You actually shouldn't lift and run everyday. It is best to lift 3 days a week, and run or jog the days in between. That way, your muscles have some time to recuperate after workouts. If you do it day in and day out, it will actually hurt your muscles because they are being worked beyond exhaustion. 3 or maybe 4 days a week is plenty for weight lifting. Run at least in between the lifting days, and before you lift if you want. Running 7 days a week won't hurt you, but lifting weights for more than 3 or 4 will.

Count you calories and work off about 200 more than you ate.

well u could go on the calorie watch diet. it does work BUT if your working out as much as u are u may need more food or else you wont have energy to workout. so just make healthy choices and cut portions down. it really is that simple. the most difficult part is the willpower.. (im struggling) but u seem to have that! good luck :)
