Ht. 5' 9", Wt. 230 - I really need help! I exercise for 40 mins. a day, and only gain weight( not muscle ). I don't even eat that much, and my friends wonder why I'm not a toothpick! Please! school starts in 4 weeks and I want to lose atleast 40 pounds! god this is gonna be hard! anybody have any tips?

also swich up ur exercise every so often like every 3 or 4 months so u dont hit a platoue , and u will keep loosing weight

eat 6 small meals a day, and drink 8 glasses of water a day. cut the sweets out and th take out food. do cardio soem days and weight traning every other day. and dont skip meals cause it slows the matabilism down which causes u to gain weight

First thing that your doing wrong is not eating that much. You need to eat something for breakfast! I like the microwave oatmeals that Quaker makes...the apple cinnamon is great! Lunch should have a protein and a veggie at least. And for dinner eat what the rest of your family eats, excluding anything fried. And dont forget to watch portions. But you have to eat because if you dont your body will store every little bit that you do eat as FAT. Trust me, I've been down the same road that your on. Switch your exercises. Your body will adjust to the one your on and youi wont burn as many calories. Try this please!

Try upping your workouts, but 10-20 minutes, and/or increase the intensity. Good luck

no offence but it is not possible to lose 40 pounds in 1 month. the highest u lose lost the healhy way is 15 or less!

The first tip I have is dont set your mind on unrealistic goals. I dont know if you ment you want to lose 40lbs in the 4 weeks..but if thats what you meant I'd forget about it. You could lose 10lbs in a month just by eating and working out.or if you want to try a diet, the south beach diet works so in 2 weeks you lose 8-13lbs. So you can look up some stuff online and figure out if a diet like SBD is for you. Hope this helped.
