Ht. 5'5", Wt. 190 goal 150 - how many minutes or how many jumps are good when jumping rope to burn fat and make ur heart stronger?ps. sorry for all the posts, but u gotta admire my determination.lol.

Well you really need to keep your heart rate up for about 20 minutes to really start burning fat. So I'd say about half an hour. But what you can do is when you are watching your favorite tv shows, jump rope as fast as you can during the commercials and do that during any 2 hours of tv that day (it adds up to about 30 minutes of exercise). hey yeah it depends what you are better at, if u can keep running or jogging up for a while then do it but a lot of ppl cant lol...so an example is that 15 minutes of running is the same as 30 minutes of walking, its easier but takes more time.
