Ht. 5'3", Wt. 215 - Turns out I don't have to go swimming and hate my body in a bathing suit, yay!!! But me and my little sis are going to try to lose weight together, I want to eventually lose 70 pounds, and she wants to lose about 15. So here's what we're doing: She is gonna try to eat less and stay away from the sweets, and so am I but I am gonna try to reduce my calories to 1000-1500 a day, and we are gonna do about 15 mins. of muscle building exercise (like push ups sit-ups,etc.) and then 15-20 minutes of cardio. Does this sound good enough, like we will reach our goals and stuff by doing this?!?!? I would really appriciate some feedback :) thanks!
Reply from angie, Age 15 - 08/08/05 - IP#: 24.86.11.xxx yeah that sounds good...its better if you lose weight slowly, like 5-10 pounds a month, so cutting back on calories is the good way to go. Like if you are cutting 500 calories a day, right there that will be about 5 pounds of weight loss in a month, with added cardio like you guys are doing it u should expect about 10 pounds a month.
