Ht. 5'2, Wt. 136ish - okay now i know a lot of you are DESPERATE to lose weight. trust me, i've been there. and i still am. BUT...this whole tuna diet is so stupid. sure, youre gonna lose weight. a chicken diet would work. a veggie diet would work. my mom even lost 15 pounds on a HIGH "healthy" carb diet. but. you lose the weight. and then what? are you honestly going to eat just tuna or chicken for the rest of your life? when you do this kind of diet, it messes your body up. youre not getting nutrients and fat from other foods like you SHOULD. so, when you go off the diet, or induldge even a little, your body makes up for what is lost, and automatically stores whatever you eat. you gain weight even faster than normal, which will THEN make your metabolism even slower. THERES A REASON why fad diet do not work. sure you can lose weight from this...BUT YOU WILL gain it back. you can tell yourself once you reach your goal ooo youll exercise and watch what you eat, but you WILL gain the weight back, plus more. im not trying to put you down, im just trying to push everyone not to do a fad diet like this, but instead change your entire eating habits. if you eat three portioned meals a day, snack on fruit and veggies, drink lots of water and exercise, you will lose weight and feel great, and won't need to worry about gaining all your weight back. good luck!

Reply from Ed, Age 15 - 08/11/05 - IP#: 64.12.116.xxx Yeah I had a friend who ate a tuna sandwhich 3 times a day for 3 weeks, and he lost 20 pounds, but after he was done he gained 30 back in the next 2 weeks from just eating normally.
