Ht. 5'6, Wt. 166 - Just a question.....if you go on a "diet" then go off of it but keep ur calories under control and exercise and all that stuff will you keep the weight off?

Ok, well, see, has anyone heard of the 6 Week Body Makeover by Micheal Thurmond? I'm on that but it seems like its gonna be really hard....but my mom already bought the stuff so I am gonna try it...but I am gonna go back to my old thing where I had yogurt, fruit, and just healhty food.....so yea....

a diet is a life long process. you have to chose one that you can handle for life. strict diets (ex. cabbage soup, grapefruit diet) are impossible to follow, how many people do u know who can eat that for the rest of their lives. pick some thing u can stick with. If you try something and discover it is too hard for you, try something different till u have something u can stick too. think long term, not that you want to lose that # lbs, but the u wanna keep them off for life

yep most likely. i mean, youll probably gain a little back, but as long as you keep in under control and exercise, than its good
